We are amazed at God’s goodness. Each week, when the Refugee Memphis team gathers, we report on God’s undertakings among us:
Josh T stays busy teaching English classes for eager Afghans and Ukrainians. He offers a particular Friday class to prepare students for their driver’s license exam. Kimberly stays busy getting kids enrolled in five different schools. Darla coordinates all kinds of ministry for a dozen new arrivals.

Our newest staff members, the O family, just had a baby; that hasn’t stopped them from creating exciting outreach events. This weekend the family helped Afghans cook and sell lots of delicious Afghan cuisine.

The team is growing, the work is expanding, and we face new challenges. We walk by faith, trusting the Lord.

At times we all feel exhausted. We Morrises try to keep up with this extraordinary team; Cindy continues on her journey with cancer and feels nauseated half the week. Despite the stretching of our faith, we all enjoy serving new refugee friends together. Please pray with us for strength, health, endurance, and for God to supply every need.

Thank you, friends and family, for your prayers and generosity. The Lord is using you to bless the nations before usWill you pray for God’s love to be evident at the October 29 Fall Festival? Refugee Memphis friends will gather at a local church for a cookout, kids’ activities, and fun. Ask the Lord for spiritual conversations.
